4 Tips For Planning a Great Journey Date

There’ s no better method to rekindle your partnership than taking a weekend to hit the road with your partner and really spend some quality time together. Summer is not yet over, and we believe August and September are the perfect months in order to plan impromptu road trips for just the two of you. Take a look at our tips under:

1 . Pick where you might want, and set it in the date: If you have a specific location in mind, or simply looking to hit the road and locate somewhere new, choosing the location is half the enjoyment. Virtually all states inside the U. S. have tourism web sites that are helpful sources when it comes to preparing. After you have selected an area, mark your trip on the date – in pen. It’ s so easy to get caught up at work and existence, we sometimes forget the importance of setting aside time for one another. This little (but important! ) step will make sure that occurs.

2 . Do your research: There is nothing worse which can happen on the road trip than running out of fuel in the middle of no place. Avoid this potential disaster like this through mapping out your route before you go. Find out your stops with regard to gas, food, rest areas and also (if you’ re like us) coffee houses ahead of time therefore you know what to anticipate and can program accordingly. It can also be very helpful to utilize equipment like Yelp along with other useful apps in order to familiarize yourself with your own where you might want so that you can figure out the best local eateries, pubs, clubs and sights before you get presently there.

3. Throw on some comfy clothes, arrange your playlist and get ready to spin: The background music you bring play on the road sets the tone for the road trip, so choose wisely! Add tunes that bring back great memories from your partnership and will also be reminiscing very quickly! Perhaps the song you initial danced together in order to, an artist both of you love or perhaps a song that played during a great time you two got. Of course it’ s important to include tunes the two of you can jam to (Call Me personally Maybe, anyone? ) and a few strength ballads or traditional karaoke tracks to seatbelt out with each other. It’ s amazing how good music helps pass enough time and can also bring back fond remembrances of the past.

4. Be okay with getting lost: Always remember that this point of your trip is to spend some quality time together. Just like many other aspects of life, sometimes the journey itself is far more important compared to final location. Getting off-course is a part of existence, definitely section of road trips, an excellent date idea and sometimes the best remembrances come from the unexpected. Take this opportunity to talk and giggle together. Explore new areas and sites that you may not need seen otherwise and just simply enjoy being in each other’ s firm. Pack your spontaneity, bring along good vibes and become ready to possess a blast with your partner, and also everything else will get into location.

Hello, I just wanted some opinions and thoughts on the chances of me getting accepted into Boston College! Please let me know if you think there is anything I can better myself in. I’ll appreciate all replies!

I am currently a Junior. Freshman year I took 2 standard classes and 3 honors classes (got all As). Sophomore year I took 5 honors classes (got 3 As and 2 89s). Junior year I am currently taking 2 AP courses and 3 honors (currently receiving As in all but one class). Senior year I am planning to take 4 AP courses and 1 honors class. On our school’s 5.0 scale, I have a 4.4 GPA. I am number 11 in my class of 184 students (top 5%).

Aside from grades, I am an active member of Student Council, National Honors Society, and Yearbook club. I am also the secretary of Academic Decathlon. I have been invited to (and joined) the National Society for High School Scholars. I have been a member of the school’s Varsity Track & Field team for the past 3 years (and will be next year).

I recently got my SAT scores (math – 720, writing – 600, critical reading – 530 :[ ) with total score of 1850. (I think with enough prep over the summer I can get that up to a 2000 or close to it at September’s test date.)

Outside of school, I have worked at a local supermarket for about a year. I have also held community service jobs at two local libraries and help out with the Art’s Council’s events over the summer. I have about 100 hours of community service.

My mom is an alumni to the school and finally I’m planning to write an awesome essay! :)

So if anyone who has any tips would like to give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated! This is basically my dream school. Thanks in advance.

In a year I plan to leave on a backpacking trip around the world. This trip will have no end date as I don’t know how long I will spend in each place.
This is my planned route -
I will fly to New York and from there, I will head North into Canada. I will then go west through southern Canada until I get to the west coast at which point I will reenter the USA and head south touring around Western USA maybe going as far east as Salt Lake City. When I reach Texas I will cross the border into Mexico and spend time travelling through Central America especially in the Jungles of Costa Rica. I will keep going south until reaching Colombia. In Colombia I will tour the north coast of South America for a short period of time then head South into the Amazon (my favorite place in the world). I will travel the Amazon North to south spending lots of time there! I will cross into Brazil in the Amazon. After the Amazon (hoping to spend 1-2 months there) I will go to Brazils east coast and visit Rio De Janeiro and then follow the coast South and tour down maybe as far south as Cape Horn then I will fly out from the nearest airport to New Zealand where I will spend some time mostly trekking on South Island. I will then travel to Australia and work my way North through the desert and also hitting the coast and doing the Great Barrier Reef. When I reach northern Australia I will island hop to visiting the tropical islands such as Papa New Guinea and Sumatra (this will all be done by boat) then I will dock at Singapore and slowly make my way further North through Vietnam and finally into China. I will spend much time in China visiting the Great Wall, busy cities and remote countryside and then I will go into Tibet and spend time with the monks at their monasteries. While in Tibet I will also do lots of mountain climbing. After Tibet I will go South into India and travel across the countryside, desert and also the mountains. I will then go North-West (avoiding the war zone) to the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea and then make my way into Europe where I will travel West visiting Poland, Germany, Switzerland (plus many more) before going to France and making my way through France towards the English Channel where I will get the ferry into the UK and travel North, home to Scotland!

That is my plan. This journey will be done on a low budget and I will work where needed along the way.I will also travel write and as I do photography some travel magazines have showed interest in letting me do a travel blog in the magazine along the way for which I will be paid. I am hoping to do this journey with a close family member.

I would love people’s opinion on my plan and also any suggestions of other places to go or things to do to along the way! I realize I have missed out Africa but I will save going there for another time!

Thanks in advance and sorry for the long read haha!
